We will be there to celebrate with the rest of C’ville on the progress that has been/and is being made. We will bring along our handouts including coloring pages for the kiddos, tattoos, and bracelets. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Back to School Bash, Aug. 19, 10-noon

Again this year, Charlottesville will celebrate the beginning of a new school year with a back-to-school bash at the Ting Pavilion at the Downtown Mall. Again, we will be handing out “SWAGS” (tattoos, coloring pages, etc) and reminding parents and children about the dangers of guns. For children, “If you find a gun, don’t touch, but go and tell and adult where it is.” For adults, “If you have a gun or guns, keep them unloaded and locked, with the ammo stored separately. ” Or, consider buying a biometric gun safe for your handgun.” When you send your child on a playdate, remember to ask, “Is there a gun in the home? If so, is it unloaded and locked and with ammo stored separately?” For more info on this, go to
